Building More Than Homes in Dallas: Prosperity Teams Up With Habitat for Humanity

At Prosperity Home Mortgage, community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with Habitat for Humanity - most recently lending a hand in Dallas, Texas, on another inspiring home build.

This build took place in Oak Cliff Gardens, a historic neighborhood where Dallas Habitat has already built more than 100 homes. With each new home, this area becomes a stronger, more vibrant community and we’re honored to be a small part of that growth.

The home design for this build is both modern and mindful. Crafted to make the most of a narrow 25-foot-wide lot, the two-story home includes 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a one-car garage across 1,100 thoughtfully designed square feet.

The impact of these builds is significant. Two-thirds of Dallas Habitat homebuyers are women heads of household. Of those, 40% are single moms with children at home—and 95% are families of color. Each home represents a generational investment in stability, opportunity, and hope.
